The Mira Costa Girls' Varsity Beach Volleyball team won the Southern Pacific IBVL for the fourth year in a row. The Bay Division champions earned the #1 seed in the playoffs and defeated Ventura High School in their first match, then defeated Channel Conference Champions, Arroyo Grande High School followed up by a defeat over Bay Division rival, Santa Monica High School. In a closely contested match in the finals, the Mustangs defeated South Coast Division Co-Champions, Laguna Beach High School to win the IBVL title.
